Do people find there is more combat in SOS vs AGOT (or AGOT with COK)?

Are does it seem to be around the same?

Hmmm... good question.
I think that for Baratheon there is more, for Greyjoy there is less, Lannister has about the same amount, and Stark has about the same or maybe a bit less.
Overall I've never really noticed a marked difference.

I have found that SOS has much less turtling, so we do end up fighting more, especially with the leaders and the settlements addition. So, for our group, I would say yes, we did end up fighting more than in orginal game.

I find that we fight more, but waste more time with calculations of the outcome because we are afraid of losing a general. I love that you get to chain movements during different phases of play (raid and consolidate power)
