I have quite a few Euro games but am looking for some good American board games too. Any thoughts?

Working through the night Jeff fixed the broken link. After being fixed the broken link became Jeff's BGG profile.

I was going to suggest Monopoly: New York City but it looks like you're ahead of me on that one... some of my other favorites are: Twilight Struggle and Nexus Ops.

For a little farther clarification are you talking about games with American designers or "Ameri-trash" type games?

I guess I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you looking for American designers, Ameri-trash, or stereotypical American board games (aka Monopoly) ?

I had to check the collection to get the joke... but it was worth it.

Looks like you DO like Monopoly, but it appears you are still missing
Monopoly City which you might want to check out. It's a different take on Monopoly.

Thunderstone, Acquire, and Nexus Ops are the best I can think of. I gather Ticket to Ride has its fans.

Judging from your collection you favor multiplayer games and have a qwirky fascination for monopoly...or should I generalize...business themed games.

In that frame I suggest these two...

Acquire
Vegas Showdown

I have also noted that you own The Last Night on Earth...a cooperative game with a horror theme...thus I would suggest...

Arkham Horror

On a whim I would also suggest...

RoboRally...pre-programmed robots in a race thru a factory
Cosmic Encounter...alien races w/unique powers colonize worlds
Heroscape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie...warriors from past, present, future, & fantasy in a bloody dice fest of fun.

Go get 'em cowboy!

Betrayal at House on the Hill is a great game. BUT it's out of print and pretty pricey right now. Great multi-player game with a strong Theme. Published by an American publisher. Definitely not a Euro style game. No little wooden block anywhere to be found. Co-Op with a everyone against one player twist.
