In another thread there was a request for any ideas to help with tracking turns. I posted an image of my homemade "Turn Sequence Record" but I thought I would create a specific thread in case anyone is interested. I have made slight additions to the turn sequence chart as shown in the rules, for my own benefit, including notes on checking for phone line damage, loss of radios, when to remove pinned markers etc. I think I have these right??

Here is the image again:-

I have also revised the "Command Display slightly. I found the actions section at the top of the original to be very cramped and awkward as I was always reaching over the assets section and trying to stack several tokens in a small space.

So I've split the actions section from the assets boxes and increased the 1,2,3 and 4 spaces to allow room for 4 or 5 saved action tokens etc.

I have trimmed the action display from the top of the original and keep my version next to me for convenience. You'll notice that I've also included spaces for the activation and saved markers when not in use. It works great for me anyway.

If anyone is interested I can post the Acrobat pdf files here.

Cheers
Chris

Keiron,

OK - I'll submit it to BGG but then it will have to be reviewed etc. If you want one quicker then just geekmail me your email address and I'll send the file direct.

Cheers
Chris

Matt,

Thanks for the feedback. If you (or anyone) have any ideas for improvements to the turn tracker or Command Display track please let me know.

Here's an image of the command display action track in use:-

Nice Command Display !
Thank you.

I was actually thinking about something like this when playing yesterday.

I have a suggestion though:

Add a "Turn" track and use the current visibility marker to track turn. (Maybe only add a 10 column)

Add a "Current activity" track (No Contact, Contact! Engaged Heavily Engaged) and we could use some extra counter to track it instead of the 2 counters.

Michael,

2 good suggestions! I'll have a look at the layout over the next few days. I think I might leave the current version and create the expanded one as an optional extra.

I probably wouldn't use the turn track myself as I use my FoF Turn Summary Record Sheet to track which turn and indeed which phase I'm on.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll post a note here when I've done something.

Regards
Chris
