I played my first campaign consisting of the first 5 missions before I discovered I was playing the encounters incorrectly. I really hadn’t suffered much from enemies, the only one I had trouble with was the one with the shortened time span, which took 3-4 tries. When I realized several rules I was playing wrong (mainly in my favor) I decided to reset my skill bonuses to zero and start over. The biggest mistakes I had been making were not performing the encounter check every turn, allowing my specialists to participate in every combat, and Using my Command Points to help Specialist* Skills. (oops)

Short Summary: I had extremely bad luck with non-skill check random numbers. All shortcut doors came up Impassable, and the two caches I visited turned up 1 Intel, and 0 Meds. Two of my encounters were B5 & A6. I visited Lab 3, & 2, then ran out of time in the Security bay outside Lab 1. But I also later realized in my big battle (4 Drones, 1 Guardian) I illegally used a Grenade, when I was in FIRE mode.
