OK, got this game back from the shell... started a mission. Got the first casualties, the first pinned squads... And now... I just do not remember how to get these pinned guys back to good order... Since the rulebook is a big mess when it comes down to looking up specific things i ask here hoping someone helps me out.

Thanks in advance.

It's not easy being green.

Lots of ways to get pinned guys unpinned.

1) Get rid of the enemy shooting at them. If there isn't a VOF on their card, pins go away.
2) Get shot at, but have it miss. OK, you can't really control that, but if it happens, the pin goes away.
3) Have a leader rally them. Note this is an exception to the normal limit of visual-verbal communication. Normally pinned units are out of communication...except for orders to try to remove a pin marker.

#1 I think is the best option.

I didn't think No.1 was right.

I thought No.2 & 3 were the only way of removing pinned status?

3.7.1 (Clarification):
For any card without a VOF Marker, remove any Pinned
Markers from units, just like when a MISS occurs when under
fire (6.9.1). This is done at the beginning of any subsequent
Combat Effects phase in which the unit is not subject to a VOF
marker.

Thanks. My mistake.

I was even reading the errata before I posted that! Obviously couldn't see the wood for the trees ... or something like that.
