Slightly over 100 for me. Enough to know how little I know about ASL.

Since March 2006:

167x ASL Starter Kits
143x Full ASL

And every new game shows me that I still have lots to learn ...

I'm going to have to guess 200+.

I've got 126 games on our Club Tracker, and I stopped regularly recording games there in 2007? Add tournament games and the games I played in high school, and it's got to be more than 200.

At least I'm starting to understand how to play.

Starter Kit 1: 2 games
and then a few turns of full ASL in infantry only scenarios. All against myself.

I probably know of at least 1 person (if not 3 or 4) who could honestly click the 2000+ games. I know one of them made it a goal to win ASLOK. He played 350+ scenarios in one year to prepare. I believe he did win it.

I clicked the 1000-2000. This includes PBeM and live VASSAL games. For a couple of years I was playing at least twice a week face to face against 4 or 5 different opponents.

Now I play a couple of times a year.

I'll be honest, I'm looking at Combat Commander and Conflict of Heroes as less stressful alternatives. I've played CC once and enjoyed it.

(Who am I kidding, I'll always rate ASL a 10.)

I like Combat Commander as a short and fun-based alternative as well. I've played all scenarios in more than 100 sessions, and I'm looking forward to the new Normandy Battle Pack.

But I don't like Conflict of Heroes at all. It has well produced components, but mainly the action point system is too strange for me ...

Oh...number of games played...I thought we were voting on the age you have to live to before you've used all the rules...and played them all correctly.

Just passed 250 scenarios the other day.
CG sessions as follows

Onslaught to Orsha 4
Valor of the Guards 6
Red Barricades 9
Rileys Road 3
Scotland the Brave 3
Op Watchtower 1
Pegasus Bridge 1
(Doesn't include Idle days)

The next question is how many have you won?

I had heard rumors that at least one ASLer had played over 2000 games; An amazing achievement. I'm not sure whether it deserves congratulations for extraordinary discipline, or commiseration for a life misspent.

It's great we're getting some serious ASL grognard crossover to BGG.

I think you'll find here on BGG those ASL players who are playing other (war)games too.

ASL-only-players usually concentrate on the ASL GameSquad forum and on the ASL entries of Consimworld. There one can find the best first-hand informations from the ASL-producers and -designers and competent answers from the ASL-experts - but unfortunately a lot of private bla-bla too ...

I've played two games of ASLSK 1. That was enough to scare away the only one i've ever gotten to sit down and try it with me cry

I'm currnetly in the process of trimming and clipping my newfound collection, and trying to learn the rules to then try to find someone online to start playing with, as it is very hard to find someone local who enjoys rules heavy, complex games and also has an intrest in WW2, and a s**tload of excess time to learn and play the game laugh

I'm in the same situation as you..so, if you are interested in a VASL game, let me know! I just bought SK1 and I'm reading the rules now. Would like to try it out with another beginner using VASL.

Its a guess but probably just over 100 if you count each day of a campaign like Kampfgrup Piper, or Red Barracades as a scenario.
