This is a video review of Kilpikonnakisa (Schildkrötenrennen... does this even have an english name?).
The review is in finnish only and no subtitles either.
But the game is a fun little game that can be played in 15 minutes and it works well with both children and adults.
Each player is dealt with a random color that you keep secret. The goal is to get that colored turtle to the finish. Each player gets five cards in hand that have a certain colored turtle on it + a marker that tells you if that turtle moves up one, two or goes back one space. There are also "joker"-cards that you can choose which turtle to move and cards that move only the turtle that is last in the race.
The game fast to finish but the game really starts when the turtles get nearer the end. Then everyone tries to get their turtle on the last two steps and then finish the game with a ++ card or push other turtles back, all the time trying to make sure other players don't guess what turtle you are playing and hoping that they play YOUR turtle to the goal.
The children will like the colorful game that isn't too hard to learn or play. The adults can get their fun from the fact that you can't know who is playing what tortoise and keeping it secret what is your own color.
It's a great filler.
