A group of us are trying to put together some larger scale battles and cheaper battles by using the FOW rules with micro armor. I designed an artillery templates for 1/285th and will be having them laser cut. If anyone is interested in these PM me or you can buy them directly from here

Should be finalizing the order next month and it takes about 4 weeks to get the order. So allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Interesting idea. Does anyone do any of the old micro-armor anymore... the 1/285 miniatures with rules like Tractics or Tank Charts? FWIW, I just posted some pics of my tanks on the Tank Charts gallery.

Are the FOW rules better than the old micro-armor rules or does the current generation just like the scale better?

It took some time to put a few armies together but we have been playing for a bit in 285th and I love it. I don't play 15mm cost to much to started. We player larger more dynamic games in the smaller scale.

Other rules set I have seen for 285th are company level stuff much more interesting when each tank equals a tank on the board.
