Poll: 4-player in teams or as an individual? What do you prefer?
When playing with 4 players Nexus Ops can be played in teams of 2 or with each person playing as an individual. Which version do you enjoy playing the most?

Well I like to play this as individuals, and then team up when it's beneficial.

The rules specifically show a team variant where as a team you are attempting to get to 20 points, as opposed to 12 points as individuals. You remain as a team for the entire game and are able to pass through hex squares of your team mate without having to have a battle.

And you can pass one mission card to your teammate every turn. Really helps get the right card in the right place to get those points.

It's great as a team game, works better than the sum of individual players.

That's what I had read, but that doesn't seem to be reflected by the results of the poll? It's quite a unique scenario to play a game in teams. Not sure how many other games let you do that? Possibly an idea for a Geeklist?

Though here at journey's end I lie in darkness buried deep, beyond all towers strong and high, beyond all mountains steep, above all shadows rides the Sun, and Stars forever dwell: I will not say the Day is done, nor bid the Stars farewell.

Saruman once asked if Gandalf would play in teams.

There is only one lord of the rubium, only one who can bend it to his will. And he does not share power!
