Found Union Pacific when I was in Utrecht. Have wanted this game for a long long time so I couldn´t resist it. (29 euro)
Today I got my package from Adam-spielt containing the Anno 1503 expansion, Kontor and Mamma Mia.
In a bookstore in Porsgrunn I found Cosmic Encounter on sale. Original Norwegian insane price is 650 so when it was suddenly there in front of me at 249 is what not much to think about.
They had this very nice metal box with Rummykub at the toy store. And since they had only one left it was just to hard to leave it behind. It just cried for a new home, and I happen to like Rummy. (nok 179).
Couldn't resist it any longer and bought Goa even if I had decided not to buy any more games untill Essen. (nok 299).
Brought some games home from my trip to the US in April:
- Ticket to Ride
- I'm the Boss
- San Juan
- Chaos Tiles
- Settlers Cities and Knights
- Mistery of the Abbey
- Mammoth Hunters
- Bailiwick (why did I buy this? ok, it was only $5).
Games I got:
- Time Travel
Nice collection, but have you played them yet?
I know that's my problem, buy games, and they sit on the shelf.
Luckily my girlfriend has been learning the rules with me and over the past week I have learned Hansa, LOTR, Attika, YINSH, LOTR: The Confrontation, and Carcassonne: The Castle.
I'm on cloud 9.
Those were all easy to learn, with the exception of LOTR.
How's your experience been?
Good question Kevin. I have games I haven't played. 13 of them to be accurate. At the same time this year have been very good for gaming. So far this year I have played 171 games, counting 94 different onces.
Hopefully I will find people that will play all my games with me :-)
lol! I thought you weren't getting more games until Essen! I must admit I just ordered some new games as well (at least new to me.) I already got Kaleidos which I like a lot and a Ceki/Ma Taio deck and have Rumis, Flowerpower, Cafe International das kartenspiel (I blame this one on you, Johanne), Coloretto expansion and something else I've forgotten.
lol, maybe we will have to play cafe international das kartenspiel in april then Lorna? :-)
I'm serious considering buying the "real" game.
Never heard about Rumis before but that one sure looked kind of interesting.
Seems like we will fly to Essen this year so I gues I will soon just order all the games I was planning to buy there. I'm sure there will be more games than I can bring with me home on a plane in Essen anyhow...
