is letting me borrow his copy until I can get one of my own.

I had a quick question.

I just read over the rules...

In a two player game you use 4 suits with 1 each J/Q/K

I'm assuming in a 3 player game you use 5 with 1 each J/Q/K - hence the extra suit and set of face cards...

Am I correct?

yes, that is it. 3 Player uses 5 suits and a J/Q/K for each player.
