I have made a proper Trophy.

It keeps trousers up, is properly engraved and looks good.
It is designed to impress the wearer, and people that have it explained to them if you want to.

I have spent time and effort to create a thing of beauty. I will give the fruit of my labour to a Human Champion of Middle Earth. It feels good to create something of simple beauty. Galadraiel would be proud.

I saw hundreds of belts. I saw 7 engravers. Engraving on a curved Belt Buckle is tough.
The Belt is Big, Black, and Simple. It looks cool.

I am happy to have put the effort in. I have sent it to SEVENSPIRITS. Hope you like it.
Please send it to the next Online World Champion.

I am the 2009 Online War of the Ring World Champion.
I rightly quite Proud of that.

I highly recommend the Online Game.
I thank the people that put in the effort so I could play.

Randomly the Queen song "WE Are the champions. . . ." came on today.
Made me smile because "WE" were not. I was.

I had no idea that you were 'world champion'. You shouldn't be so modest.

Maybe a ring? Like the replicate ring of power with the Mordor writing on it... albeit, it would need the writing to say XXXX champion... probably gets cost in effective at that point.

Gotta check out that outtake on the Lord of the Rings movies. Never got around to seeing any of the bonus material...

Albeit, a belt can work too. Since shipping concerns would matter too if whatever it is will be shipping around the world.

Hmmm... LoTR things...

I think a ring, where only the winner's name can be revealed by fire

A ring would be more appropriate than a belt, unless it is the Golden Belt of Lorien! Still it would have to be marked with elven runes so that it could be identified as the One Ring. This is beyond the tournament budget! It is the type of reward Nexus or FFG could fund though.

I remember a few years ago playing in an L5R tournament were real Katanas were given out to first place. Sure they weren't hand made but it was still a valuable thematic prize.

A ring to be honest can be only a one off gift.
You cannot write much on a ring.

But why not a yearly engraved ring ?

Galadraiel gave Boromir a mighty fine belt. As Boromir was effected by Pride, and there was never much doubt about the Gecko, it's about right.
