It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

I played two more times today... once as 2 player and one 3 player.

A few questions regarding 3 player:

1) How many cards are dealt to each player?

In a 2 player game, there are 8 cards in the haggis... if you deal 14 cards to each player in a 3 player game, there only is 3 cards in the haggis. So do you deal 14 (3 in haggis), 13 (6 in haggis), 12 (9 in haggis) or 15 (0 in haggis)

2) Who do you give the cards to if you win a trick with a bomb?

In a 2 player game it clearly states that you give the cards to the other player... so can you give the cards to anyone or the player to the left/right?

Found these in the update rules that I did not have... heh...

3) What happens when you play the last cards from your hand?

Does play stop immediately or does everyone else keep playing to win the trick (à la Tichu)?

4) Clarification: Total number of cards in hand - for scoring purposes.

In a 2 player game you get points based on the number of cards left in your opponent hand. In a 3 player game, is it the total number of cards left in both hands or whoever has more cards - that is the number you pay attention to?

Thanks.

When the first player goes out - record the number of cards in each player's hand then continue the trick.

When the second player goes out - play ends immediately.

In the three player game it is the greater number of cards in the remaining two players' hand for the first player out. The second player out scores for cards in the final player's hand.

Thanks!

It would have helped if I had the updated rules... heh...

I have since downloaded, folded and put them in the case.
