If you don't know what Universal head is then you must have had your board gaming head stuck in the sand for a while. Peter Gifford http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/UniversalHead designs the best quick references for board games this side of the Milky Way. You da man Peter. Keep up the great work!

However...Publishers wake up please...

A bit of a rant here As I...
Print yet another setup sheet...
Feed back into printer to print double sided...
Grumble at the cost of ink...
Fumble with scissors...
Trek to Office Depot to pick up a laminating kit...

I think to myself...

Quick Reference sheets are a board gaming necessity for those great games that you don't play often enough to have setup and rules memorized...Which for me, is every game I own!!!

So why don't publishers wake up and realize that these sheets should come in the box!!

You publishers give UniversalHead a call...You could use his help!

Consider just digitally sending to FedEx/Kinkos to print/laminate to order for pickup.

Absolutely.

Also, props to him for his Legend of Robin Hood redesign. A lot of publishers could use his design skills too. And kwanchai's. And Karim's, etc.

Just stumbled across this thread - thanks for the kind words folks. I highly recommend buying a laminator; I use it almost as much as my computer!

Unfortunately I can't see publishers paying me for making my sheets anytime soon - 'cause it's face it, at the moment they're getting them made for free! In fact, I was amused to find out that FFG seem to be using a few of my sheets for their gaming events...

That is sort of messed up... I guess it is a nice thing to know that FFG uses YOUR stuff for THEIR games. At the same time, you have to wonder if you should be getting something out of that!

BTW, thanks for the hard work you put into your play aids!
