The experiment started with Claustrophobia continues.

I focus on the 4 things that concern me: Storage, Components, Set-up, and Play--in 9 minutes (tried to do it shorter, but it's a LOT of game).

The lighting/focusing issues are reduced and my background music is different (better?), but had to cut quite a bit to get it to fit. Tried more subtitles... Hope it still comes out coherent. Feedback always appreciated.



The next review will be Battue: Storm of the Horse Lords.

the end splash screens and the scrolling texts were a little on the fast side but other than that I very much like! :thumbsup:

Seriously, though, I thought it was better than nothing. But if anyone out there wants to donate some background music I think people will appreciate it!

nice! would have hit hundreds of thumbs when this game was younger :O

Yeah, background music would have been a lot better, you can just use the ones from the videogames (you can find them in the web or how to get them from your copy).

Oh, and I'm positive you miss something with Aldaris, you regroup your workers before the Event cards, so he could have spent the money to use the cards.

I hate people that quote rulebooks, but on page 15, under Retrieve Workers: "These workers will be available to harvest resources during the next game round." This seems to clearly state that I cannot use these workers, and that's how we've played: People gamble and retain workers on the off chance that their Event cards would allow them these special builds. Harsh.

Could you perhaps reference a thread that states that, in fact, these workers are available for Event Cards now, and not next turn? Thank you for the comments, even if I don't get a thumb! (^_^)

You made quite the error, when you explained the building process for Raynor.

The build order is.
1: Units (Workers, Transports and or Fighting units)
2: Buildinds and Modules (Max 1 building and 1 Module per Order)
3: Bases (Max 1 Base per Order)

That means the player cannot buy the spaceport, and then buy Wraiths.
He could however buy 2 marines, then the Spaceport and the Module.

Otherwise good video, but a little "Calm" music would have been nice.

Ah! That is a big error! I don't think a game goes by yet where I don't make some kind of error (._.) It reminds me why I was initially leery of the game, but I'm hoping that with every game I play I can nail down more and more of the rules.

You also made a mistake with Kerrigan's build order. You built two buildings with one order, where you are alowed only to build one building.

Ah, well, I'll get it right eventually--though, now I'm doing Brood War. Oog. Maybe I'll never get these rules straight.
