To get you all started, my personal favorite:

If you're gonna shoot, shoot! Don't talk.

- Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramírez (Eli Wallach)
Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo (aka: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)

(Of course, I will not be eligible to win my own prizes.)

I have two from the Cowboys:

Nightlinger: I regret trifling with married women. I'm thoroughly ashamed at cheating at cards. I deplore my occasional departures from the truth. Forgive me for taking your name in vain, my Saturday drunkenness, my Sunday sloth. Above all, forgive me for the men I've killed in anger... and those I am about to.

-

Will: I'm thirty years older than you are. I had my back broke once, and my hip twice. And on my worst day I could beat the hell out of you.

-

And from The Magnificent Seven:

Just about anything Vin says in the film.

-

From Silverado:

Anything Paden says.

Mal: Now, I don't wanna kill you, and you don't wanna be dead.

God Knows it has to be:

"Badges? We don't need no steeenking badges!"

Treasure of the Sierra Madre (I believe)

And thanks for the nice plug Sir, thumbsupbaconthumbsup

EDIT: I do stand corrected by Ed down there a few posts... I apologize for using such an abbreviated version of the quote...but most people know what its all about...The true quote is:

"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges."

I just remember using it at Gen-Con repeatedly...

Well, If I win any GOLD I promise to give some to the man who posted the correct exact quote....how about that?

Come to think of it...there should be an "I don't need no stinking microbadge!" microbadge...I wish I wasn't so green on BBG or I would design one, but I haven't learned that trick yet.

I've been partial to...

'I said I didn't have much use for one. Never said I didn't know to use one'

and...

'Do you think I can be as fast as you, Mr. Marston?'
'What, if you practice alot? No.'

I paraphrased those more than I wish, but I liked them. Both are from Quiggly Down Under - not your standard western though.

That's debatable. Plenty of Westerns were set in Mexico, so geography is irrelevant. The themes presented and the manner in which they are explored fit the Western mold both in substance and imagery.

It's a western and maybe the first "modern western".

"My dear Wife, Mr. Davies will tell you what's happening here tonight. He's a good man and has done everything he can for me. I suppose there are some other good men here, too, only they don't seem to realize what they're doing. They're the ones I feel sorry for. 'Cause it'll be over for me in a little while, but they'll have to go on remembering for the rest of their lives. A man just naturally can't take the law into his own hands and hang people without hurtin' everybody in the world, 'cause then he's just not breaking one law but all laws. Law is a lot more than words you put in a book, or judges or lawyers or sheriffs you hire to carry it out. It's everything people ever have found out about justice and what's right and wrong. It's the very conscience of humanity. There can't be any such thing as civilization unless people have a conscience, because if people touch God anywhere, where is it except through their conscience? And what is anybody's conscience except a little piece of the conscience of all men that ever lived? I guess that's all I've got to say except kiss the babies for me and God bless you. Your husband, Donald."

I don't think anyone has even labeled Treasure of Sierra Madre a revisionist/modern western.

revisionist westerns are more a backlash of the propaganda or exploitations of earlier westerns.

Sierra Madre is just an Adventure movie set in Mexico in the 20's
