Hello, I have the need to clarify he following point (a tournament is coming and I want an authoritative opinion):

Can I play a Hidden fortification card (Cave, Pillbox, Trenchline), where an enemy attack has just destroyed another fortification (via Explosive Charge, Vulnerability table, or Guerrilla Fire in Scenario A)?

I would definitely say yes, since "just prior to the scenario Defender making a Defence dieroll" there would be no fortification left in the hex.
I can hear Chad saying "the fortification complex was just too complex, they got that bunker but didn't see the pillbox sitting in the jungle only 15 meters away".

I apologise if the answer to this query has already appeared somewhere, a search with the site's engine held no results.

I would agree. You can place the new fortification.
