Somedays it just doesn’t pay to set up the pieces! shake wow
This was a blitz game played at 5 minutes with a 5 second bonus for each move.

1.e4 c5
Ahh, the Sicilian! devil Always a wild and crazy battle, especially for players like me who like to castle queen side!
2.Nf3 e6
3.d4 cxd4
4.Nxd4 e5
5.Nf3 d6
Perhaps I should’ve played 5. Nb3 to allow my king side pawns to roll later. Knight did not do much on the king side in the end anyway shake
6.Nc3 Nf6
7.Bg5 Be7
8.Bc4 O-O
9.Qd2 Nbd7
10.O-O-O Nb6
To me, this is a normal Sicilian and now we are at that point of the eternal question: who can get their pawns rolling and be the firstest with the mostest?
11.Bb3 Bg4
12.h3
Perhaps defending the knight with 12. Qd3 was better. I was looking at the potential of the open g file and did not contemplate too long on the effects of a broken pawn formation.
12...Bxf3
13.gxf3 h6
14.Bh4 Nh7
15.Rhg1??
gulp 1st major goof! angry My opponent should’ve now ripped me bishop with 15...Bxh4. The dark squared bishop should’ve been exchanged to make way for the coming assault after black played h6. 16. Qxh6 no help as g6! breaks up the attack due to the lack of pawn leverage or deftly maneuvering minor pieces! shake Even attempting to sack pieces does not quite work. Example: 15...Bxh4. 16 Rxg7+ Kxg7 17. Rg1+ Kh8 18. Qxh6 Bf6! and the attack peters out. soblue
15...g5???
16.f4 exf4
17.Qxf4
2nd goof! Now Kh8 drops a piece. This game looks like I was having some demented fire sale and was looking to just give away the dark squared bishop. I could’ve played Qg3 trying to save the bishop, but again Bf6 shuts down the attack!
17...Bf6
18.Nd5 Nxd5
19.Bxd5 Qe7
20.Qe3 Kh8
21.Bg3 Be5
22.Bxe5+ Qxe5
23.h4 f6
24.hxg5 fxg5
At this point I spent two precious minutes trying to find a plan. Fact is, black’s position is solid. Bxb7?? is just stupid (more stupidity to follow devil ) I couldn’t find a way into his position and I was worried about my f pawn falling so I decided on what seemed a lame option, biding my time to see what he would do next. I was quite frustrated! I thought for sure there had to be some pawn assault I could’ve launched!
25.Rdf1 Qf4
I think this was a major mistake! I was under significant pressure so why take it off by letting me exchange queens? I think he needed to keep the queens on the board, IMO. Here he could’ve began adding pressure with any number of moves like Nf6 or b5 or g5. All of these give white fits and I expected any one of them. Once I realized I had the chance to get the queens off and safely snatch the b pawn, I had to take it!
26.Qxf4 Rxf4
27.Bxb7 Rb8
28.Bd5 Rbf8
29.Rd1
Here I decided to abandon the f pawn and allow him the passed connected pawns on the king side to get my rooks active by hitting his d pawn which I thought was undefendable.

29... Nf6
30.Bc6 Ng4
I think Nxe4 is stronger here. This move eliminates my greatest chance at counter play.
31.Rxd6
Active again! thumbsup
31...Kg7
32.Rd7+ R8f7
33.Rxf7+ Rxf7????
Had to play Kxf7 here. Now I get up big, but I still managed to blow it in the end! angry
34.Rxg4 Rxf2
35.b3 Rf1+
36.Kb2 Rf6
37.Bd5 Rd6
38.Rg1 Kg6
39.Rd1 Kf6
40.Rf1+ Kg6
41.Rf8 Kh5
42.Ra8 Kg4
43.Rxa7 Kf4
At this point, I figured it was over and given I had :35 seconds at this point, this seemed to be a good thing. With 3 passed pawns on the queen side and the extra bishop I can sacrifice for one of his pawns as it tries to queen. However, to finish the job I needed to get my rook behind his h pawn.
44.c4 g4
45.Re7 g3
Now would’ve been a good time for Rh7 to neutralize his last threat!
46.e5 Rg6
47.Rf7+ Kxe5
Blunder! Yes, I can afford to just give away pawns!!!! Low on time still, but I figured I could still pull this game out!
48.a4 g2
49.Bxg2 Rxg2+
50.Ka3 Ke6
51.Rh7 Rg6
About time I hit the h file! shake
52.a5 Kf5
53.Kb4 Kg5
54.Kb5 h5
55.c5 h4
56.c6 Rg8
57.Kb6 Rb8+
58.Rb7 Rh8
Biggest and fatal mistake! No need to pull the rook away from the h file. I can use the pawns as a shield and I am close enough to use my king to force the issue! Ka7 is correct here I think.
59.c7???? h3
And now I cut my own rook off from even having the chance to get back to my 1st rank and try to catch the h pawn. Seriously, could I make a bigger mistake???
60.Rb8 Rh6+
61.Kb7 h2
62.Rg8+ Kh5
63.c8=Q h1=Q+
64.Qc6??
Spoke too soon!! shake angry gulp
Here I gave it up, left the room and lost it! angry angry
Chess is a wonderful game but it has one HUGE aggravating truth: there is no luck! So when you lost it is all YOUR fault! Of course, the converse is that when you win it is all YOU since you made the most of opportunities, made strong moves, and saw things your opponent did not!
Ahhh......chess........

A pdf would make it easy to play through your game on Fritz or something on screen. Not sure its worth it to set up a board and fumble with the pieces just to view somebody else's sad loss.

I'm surprised you put forth this much effort regarding a "sad loss" to begin with
