Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

Scenario 1. SEPARATION
Solid Soviet Victory on Turn 7.

Both the 1/613 and the Soviet 93rd started right next to each other around Hex Y23.
Likewise, the 2/182 and 62nd MR started each other around the town around AN6.

In the opening turns, the Soviet T-80s made short work of the M48s of the 1/613 Panzer. The 1/613 never had a chance to move or shoot - such are the fortunes of war.

In the northeastern sector, the West German infantry conducted a series of rapid assaults against elements of the 62nd Motor Rifle in the streets of Faulbach. One Soviet Infantry unit burned alive in a BTR-70 while the other Soviet soldiers managed to hop out as the West Germans blasted their BTR-70s to bits.

The Soviet Close Air Support enters the scene just as the West Germans complete the mop up of the remnants of the Soviet Infantry. The 2/182 PzGren mounted up and hit the road. The West Germans take down a hind with their AA missile fire but their movement towards the exit area is stalled as the SU-25 and the remaining Hind E pour on the firepower. From maximum range, BRDMs of the 93RD Recon help stop the West German escape.

The Panzer Morser and an infantry unit in a Marder leave the cover of the woods and speed towards western edge hoping to live and fight another day. They are intercepted by the 93rd Recon. The BRDMs launch a series of disrupting attacks and the T-80s move in to kill the Panzer Morser. The lone Marder is then obliterated by a SU-25 air strike!

==== West German Casualties ====
* 1/613 Panzer: All units!
* 2/182 PzGren: All units!

==== Soviet Casualties ====
* 93rd Recon: None.
* 62nd Motor Rifle: All Units!
* 57th AHR: 1xHind E
