Kinda cool, but it reminds me how bad Dark Tower really is. Nostalgia is a powerful tool.

Dark Tower is a mightily bad game.

Pre computer it was cool.

Its kind of like AMBUSH!

Once a PC could take care of all of the paperwork, the game was kind of rendered obsolete.

I used to have Dark Tower -- don't know what happened to it, except I still have three of the little knight figures and the dragon. I keep them in my Settlers of Catan box and use them as the robber.

Wow! Well done!!

The game blew in so many ways - but the nostalgia is too powerful to overcome.

I bought a copy of it (for big bucks) on eBay and put my group through it a couple of times and then sold it (for even bigger bucks). When we played, we drank and talked the entire time. The game was merely a focus for our gathering and was played as an afterthought while we enjoyed each other's company.

This makes me happy.

I still have my copy of Dark Tower. I recently cleaned the motor and restored it to perfect working condition. The grinding of the gears and bleeping tower really take me back 25 years.

Glad to see the Flash versions of the game available.

Never owned the game but I remember the commercials from my childhood, with the white bearded gentleman and his exclamation of, "Uh-oh! Brigands!" MAN, I wanted that game. This is the first I've played it, and while I'm grateful to have had a chance to give it a shot, and I commend the programmer on what appears to be a very faithful recreation (minus multi-player ability), MY GOD what a painful board game to play! When I won and it asked me if I wanted another game I found myself shouting "CHRIST, NO!" loud enough to wake my roommate.

Still have Dark Tower. Brings back great memories. Of course it is a bit dated, but hopefully it will help fund my daughter's college education. laugh
