Well, lots of these sorts of things have been done already here, but I'm too lazy to find the links to them all. So here:

1. Canada. West Coast.
2. Today, I'll say hex and counter wargames, particularly naval ones, and spaceship games that play like naval ones, currently Serpents of the Seas and Federation Commander.
3. Right now, mostly solo, otherwise with 2 friends.
4. Yes, there's gaming clubs around but I've not jumped in.
5. One forementioned friend prefers boardgames, the other video games.
6. There are 4 in town that do on site gaming. Mostly Magic/Pokemon/Yugioh CCG type stuff with smelly little kids.

Hi I am just taking a quick poll to determine what country is the most popular for gaming judging by only this sites members. :)

So here are the questions

1: What Country do you live in(no need for specifics, just country and maybe state as well)

2: What Game Do you Like to play most?

5: How many of your friends prefer board/card/tabletop games to Video games ?

6: How many hobby/game stores are near you that provide non-video game fun :)

Please try to answer all the questions but if you only answer one please make it question number 1 :)

2. Seekrieg 5.
3. Six.
4. Yes.
5. All.

2: What Game Do you Like to play most? as a group we play mostly euros, but I'm getting more into CDG wargames like Twilight Struggle and Unhappy King Charles, and also Tactical games like COH:Storms of Steel, so I have a buddy that meets for that midweek.

3: 2-5 (1 for wargames)

4: Not that I'm aware of.

5: Most of my group

6: 3, but I only shop at one. Of the other two, one is mostly Magic, while the other charges way to much, in my opinion.

Would it be okay if you just said America(if you live there) or canada or so forth you know what I mean

Sorry to be a hassle

Sorry to be a hassle, but this is pretty rude in my book. Any data collection effort will receive a certain number of invalid answers. Whether this gentleman was serious or not (In this case a pop culture reference) it's not your place to come behind an answer and criticize it.

Ignore the fact that you have a newuser tag and you just show up and start asking questions. No preamble as to why you are collecting data or any justification for even asking questions.

I decided not to answer your questions because you didn't seem interested in taking the time to be respectful enough to explain yourself.
