This is a brief report on what happened to the brave pilots that dared undertake the missions in the Rolling Thunder '67 Campaign. The pilots all agreed to remain anonymous, so that the glory (and in the same respect, the failure) will be reflected solely on the USAF and not to any one individual.

Pilots: Papa, Irish, Bat, Chiller, Judge, Junior, Pigeon, Surfer, Buzzard & Mad Dog

Mission 1: We were called upon to do a Fighter Sweep over Hanoi. Despite a tight battle, we failed as a MiG-19 was able to escape.

Mission 2: We were ordered to provide Close Air Support over Dong Hoi. To be brief... we did our job.

Mission 3: Our next mission was to perform a Covert Mission to Laos. We went, we saw, we conquered. Around this time, alot of our pilots were getting stressed, so we opted for extra R&R. Unnecessary bingeing occurred. Appetites were sated and hangovers were abundant.

Mission 4: We had to get over our hangovers quickly as we were then ordered to destroy a Major Bridge in Lang Son. We did it... but at the cost of our brothers. Buzzard and Surfer were reported M.I.A. after the mission. We miss them dearly. Hopefully, they are still alive somewhere.

Mission 5: With the shock of our loss still hanging in the air, our C.O. issued us a relatively easy Convoy mission over Dong Hoi. Seeing as how we succeeded with flying colors during our last mission over Dong Hoi, spirits were high and we were able to finish the mission relatively fast and pain free (well, pain free for us anyway).

Mission 6: Our last mission were to destroy six SAM Sites in Ha Giang. The fight was intense. We took major hits and barely pulled off our mission, firing off our last CBU right before we were recalled. Our last mission was a resounding success.

Overall, we had a great campaign save for the lost of Buzzard & Surfer. We finished most missions admirably and with style. Heck, Pigeon and Bat even got promoted. Now, on to some R&R, and speaking for the rest of the team... here's looking forward to our next campaign.
