Having just started into the full CG, we're finding it a bit of a chore to have a quick read on how much population is controlled in each region. Starting with the next session, I'm going to try deploying the numerical markers from TAHGC's Blackbeard on the map to show VC control. This should help players decide where to reinforce and how much VC may be built fresh.

I have also started a campaign game. There are not enough "ops complete" markers for the whole map.

My partner has written an AAR in french on the forum "Strategykon.info".
If anybody is interested I'll post the link.

French AARs are only allowed for the 1859-1959 version of the game ;-)

...and it looks like you meant strategikon.info. Do you have a more specific URL so we can jump straight to it? Otherwise, I'll try digging around to try and find it on the weekend.

Sorry, no pix.

OPS COMP are not our problem (yet) but we're running out of HOLD/PATROL.

What makes it 'AUTO'?

We're working with my EXCEL record sheets that I generated after looking at Manuel Perez Ron's Word documents. I've not submitted mine to BGG yet. They are currently set up to be used as hardcopies, but anyone un-lazy enough to do the linking can convert them into cell-linked versions for use strictly as eletronic copies. We are using the Pop Control file on a PC, but not the individual player's record sheets.

Mostly calculates moral and commitment automatically for you.

US player plugs in what he purchases for units...calculates new commitment, calculates how much supply SVN has, and then automatically adjusts SVN and NLF player moral.

Pretty much if does everything unless there is a Die roll or a decision to make, like what units to purchase.

Even VC and SVN draft Level's are auto calculated.

It also calculates everything into future turns and years, and you can use a drop down to sort by year.

This was the formula in the cell just for figuring out NVA moral on US commitment.

{edit} code doesn't show up well, it and it was way to long.

You have remembered to build in the one-season off-set for the impact of US commitment on NVA Morale, yes? The NVA Morale for each season is calculated before the US player does new commitment for that season, so it is the previous season's new & total US commitment levels that impact the NVA morale for the current season.

of course my good man.

I am working on the pacification table now.

I will start with just entering in the adjustment...and it will calculate what the new population is (including +'s and -'s)

once that is working I'll work on just entering in the dice roll, and then it will figure out your die roll adjustment, and what your pacification shift will be....well I guess you'll have to enter in captured cap's and such as well.

My goal is to get the whole thing so you never have to look at a chart.

I think I have pacification working now too.

It will even tell you when the game is over.

Wow, this is turning out better, and going faster then I thought it would.

I"ve now added buttons so that you can sort the Pacification page by Corp or by Largest to smallest Population centers.
