Trying out my shiny new Brink of War yesterday with the solo game, I ran across an odd situation. If the player picks search as one of their actions and the robot matches with both dice, what's the right thing to do?

(I played that the robot matched the other chosen phase - settle in this case - twice, but later realised that this wouldn't be satisfactory if the player chose Search + Produce.)

Umm, perhaps just roll one dice again?

But which one? I'll probably just reroll both if this happens in future.

Fair point - you could just random determine which one to re-roll? Thought re-rolling both will be quicker & less fiddly.

Interesting question for Tom though.

Set one die aside and add one card to the Robot's draw stack. Match the other die.

So the robot 'searches' and, because it doesn't really care what it gets, matches the first card it finds.
