I'm looking for Christmas gifts these days, and I'm enjoying the wide variety of t-shirts, caps, bumper stickers etc. that are available for computer gamers, console gamers, and even RPG gamers. (I also found some great shirts that are copies of the ones worn on the series "Firefly" for some friends who are fans ).

Some of these "Gamer" style shirts are really quite funny, and make great gift ideas - for those that play those sorts of games.

However, I can't seem to find anything along those lines for the boardgamers.

You know, some sort of t-shirt with a joke about meeples meeple , or a Puerto Rico reference? What about a "For God's sakes, doesn't anybody want these sheep?" shirt?

Any ideas? Any links?

The only boardgaming clothing that I know of are:

1) geekwear. Click on the link in the extreme lower right corner.

2) University of Catan Clothing.
http://www.mayfairgames.com/mfg-shop/clothing/qps/clothing.h...

I've seen lots of industry people in clothing from their companies, but none that were commercially available.

burning question
My only thought about The geekwear at Cafepress is: who's going to wear the Boardgamegeek Logo on their skivvies?

At one of our Unity Games Events we gave away a speilboy thong.

3) Spielboy clothing can purchased through a link on the spielboy website. www.spielboy.com

*Warning the site is probably not something you want to open at work.

I love the Geek, but ...
Don't get me wrong, I love this site, and read it daily!

However, even amongst the gamers I know, BGG isn't well known, so a BGG icon shirt wouldn't work very well for your general boardgamer. (However, I might get one for ME , so thanks for pointing it out)

The Catanian clothing link was rather nifty! If only I liked Settlers a little more. To my shame, I don't even own a copy!

Two great links, though, so I thank you all.

make your own
I used this website to make my own BGG shirts with my full profile on the front and a meeple and lyric on the back.

http://eshirt.it/

It was a bit fiddly to get it all sorted, but I was able to get a lot on, text and pictures, to suit my need. The shirts were XL Fruit Of The Loom, very good quality.

The more images you add, the more it costs, but even getting two delivered from Italy only cost me 45€. That worked out at £15 each, which compared well with getting it done locally. And it was much easier anyway than trying to find someone to do it here.

The service was superb. I put my order in at midnight on Tuesday and asked for it to be done urgently since I was going to Essen the next week. The shirts arrived on the Friday morning, perfect condition and they followed it up with emails to check they'd come.

I had to download the 4 gifs from the geek (now 5 gifs). If I'd had time to put them together into one image, it would have been cheaper. If I hadn't put stuff on the back, I wouydl have been cheaper still.

Having started collecting nice images off the net, I'm inclined to go back and get some more done.

cafe press
I bought a nifty BGG oval sticker for my Xterra, and a handy dandy BGG logo thermo mug for travel. If they just offered BGG logo negligee for my wife to wear (or have it say 'play here' or some such), I'd be a very happy man

I have a silkscreen machine... you think I should print up some boardgame geek shirts? I could sell them on here and give half the profits to BGG.

Firefly Shirts
Yup, www.bluesunshirts.com . Had to pick some up for the movie when it comes out in April ... DOH, I mean in September! Booo!! Oh well, at least it shouldn't get lost in the summer shuffle.

I also filled out their little survey, expressing interest in picking up a couple of the replicas of Jayne's other shirts.

Thanks for the cafe press links, and others. Maybe I'll just have to use one of the "make your own shirt" sites.

If anybody else has other links, please send 'em along!

Bohnendammerung
Two rules. One bean. Five hundred ways to win. Bohnendammerung is the game you always wanted to play, now in a soft T-shirt.

I'm hoping to finally get this one. Fun to read the back of the shirt.
