My Little Man's first real wargame play: Barbarossa Solitaire

I was dusting off my copy of London's Burning and just wanted to see what everyone thinks is the best solitaire game of all time. I have several games in the genre like Patton's Best and B-17. Chalk this up to a curiosity question

Wolfpack
B-17 is good. But too dry. Plus, it takes forever to get a crew through 25 missions... if they even survive.

OTOH, Wolfpack by SPI is my all-time favorite.

What, no Hornet Leader? My all time favorite...

RAF is a close second.

In order:
Hornet Leader
Blackbeard
B-17
Patton's Best
Dungeonquest

Honorable Mention: Merchant of Venus, Republic of Rome (this one has a very interesting Solitaire mechanic, which kind of gives you a feel for the game; it really should be played with four, I think.

Those are pretty much the ones I've played the most.

I've played B-17 150 times at least. Patton's Best a couple dozen or so times. The most immersive game was Raid on St. Nazaire but hard to play isolated increments. I had Mosby's Raiders but I hadn't become a Civil War history buff yet. I'd like to try that again.

Played all the Ambush scenarios but no expansions.

Lastly, the Dwarf Star paragraph and die roll game Star Smuggler was pretty cool two or three times until I sort of solved it.

Battle for Endor
I wouldn't say it is the best of all time but it is very fun. The fact that you get to use Ewoks as bait is worth the price alone.
