My local hardware store has the Plano 777 but most posts I see around here use a different model. Anyone had success with the 777?

I have all the expansions, except those relating to overlord (I do have the new breakthrough expansion though).

I will probably try it anyways but before I pick it up, if someone has some quick advice for/against I'd appreciate.

It might help if you provided a link or a picture for people to see what you're talking about. whistle

I have considered it but haven't tried it yet. I have a similar Plano Tackle box that I use with BattleLore (basically the same think without the "side pocket") and a generic Plano box that holds 3 of the 3700 series for C&C Ancients.

The one downfall of Plano and the C&C system is that I can't find many places to store the hexes efficiently. They are just too bid for most of their standard slots.

Akro-Mils makes good cases:

These are the only ones I've been able to find that have compartments large enough to hold C&C terrain hexes.

No convenient carrying case, but a two or three of these can hold everything except for the mapboards and rulebooks.

I found mine at Jo-Ann's Fabric/Crafts stores. Not sure how widespread they are, I know we have them in the Northeastern US at least.
