The scenarios after scenario 1 allow more flexibility for unit placement, and may allow players to choose areas on the board to block off, pick initial orders and seed events. I'd like to hear your favourite choices, and the reasons for making them. If there are any particularly nasty combos, feel free to describe them! devil

So far most post-scenario 1 games have seen Magnus the Red + Mortarion with 2 Chaos Space Marines for each being setup at Lions Gate or Eternity Wall. With Magnus giving you bombard and Mortarion reducing ranks, even a Firefight Order can wipe out a zone in pre-combat stage (I say even FF since you save an initiative with it over Assault).

3 defense lasers on both sides of the palace, properly guarded gives the Chaos player something to think twice before using drop pods & port landing in those areas... you have 21 chances out of 32 of hitting your target with it.

Mortarion still has to be placed where he's originally at since it's by far the most critical space port to get & Chaos wil really have a hard time trying to reach this one if not chosen at once.
