Good lord! The bid on this was up to $36 when I last looked. Are people that hot for this game?! I can't believe it.

Anyway, here's your chance to make some money if you're trying to ditch your copy. bag

There's a store here in NYC that still has them on the shelf -- and they recently retagged it at $35.

Ridiculous. I'll wait for the reprint, thanks.

Don't do it
They are rereleasing this game next year. Don't pay the big price.

"In response to popular demand, Avalon Hill will also reprint two great games under the Wizards of the Coast label: Guillotine and The Great Dalmuti. These classic card games have been tapped by Avalon Hill for release in the late spring and early summer of 2005."

I've got to learn more game names...
I clicked on this journal thinking 'cool - I can finally get that French revolution garden theme kicked off'.

Turns out that there isn't a brilliant garden seat/vegetable slicer combo up for sale on ebay after all.

Ho hum. Maybe next time...

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of this game the handful of times I tried it. Too random for my taste shake

SELL! SELL! SELL!

I would tend to disagree. Is a new in shrink Guillotine worth $35-40? Personally, I wouldn't pay that much.

But I think it is a very fun game, and a perfect "hook" game for getting folks into the hobby.

According to our flgs Guillotine has been the best selling non-collectible card game that they carry. My wife loves it, I think that it could have used a few more rounds through the ol'playtest machine.

Heh heh, I've sold about 10 copies now at around $30 a pop! I'm kind of happy about those inflated prices...
