I was Nurgle. I couldn't get a dial advancement on the first turn. Saying I need one every turn to have my 3 points for every corruption upgrade by the end of turn 3, I whined that the game was over for me. Khorne took pity and left me alone, letting me dominate Bretonnia and Estalia for the whole game, and I was able to dominate the Empire with two nobles on it (2 turns, 14 points!) and win when it corrupted with me as the major corrupter.

Because Khorne took pity.

Then it was definitely not Khorne. Khorne only takes skulls.

At my house, "you whined all game and ended up winning" is the most vicious post-game comment imaginable. Hopefully Khorne learned his lesson!

one of our group is really good at pointing fingers at what other people are (or aren't) accomplishing and distracting attention from his own escapades until it's too late. I've gotten much better at raising the alarm when he tries to do this nowadays.

Nurgle can score 30+ points in a single turn if he does it right, even without the Provender. Khorne was a fool to listen to you. Well done!

Though I suspect you're not getting away with that trick in your group again. whistle
