I have a sirius and have not listened to broadcast radio since. Go to each website check out the channel lineup pick the one that interests you more and don't look back. you won't be sorry.

We have XM and we really like it. No commercials on the music stations. Never any static. LOTS of stations to choose from and it's only ten bucks a month.

Definitely worth the IMO.

I got it for Christmas, and it's uber-cool, but I think the sheen has worn off of it for me. I like all the variety of stations (it's darn near impossible not to find something you like), but they're still radio stations -- you'll hear a lot of the same songs if you listen to certain stations over and over again.

I really like the comedy channel, since it makes my lengthy commute go by more quickly. My biggest gripe with that station, though, is that they have COMMERCIALS! I thought no commercials was a big part of XM's advertising....

I work for a store that sells XM and Sirius. Did you have a question about them?

I've owned XM for three years. Although I'm not in love the way I was when I first listened, I'm found broadcast radio unbearable after about 4 1/2 minutes. The Comedy Channel is hit or miss for me...I probably listen to it more than any other, but sometimes the profanity becomes too much. Other times, I nearly have to pull off the road. What I like is 1) the sheer volume of stuff I can listen to; and 2) on a trip I never have to worry about finding a good local station.

Acutally, I got one for Christmas and was just wondering if anyone else out there had one. Yeah, I'm in love with it...XM 41 Boneyard all the way!

Also, about the commercials...I'm not sure about the comedy channel, but I think that the only commercials that they have on XM are for other XM shows (i.e. "Tune in to channell X at time Y for program Z", which aren't bad and only last for a few seconds.)
