Congratulations to all you lovers out there. Some of you might find the following recipe useful:

Put 1/2 pint of double cream into a saucepan.
Heat gently until boiling.

With one eye on the pan, break up 10 ounces (300g) of good quality plain chocolate in a bowl.

Pour the double cream over the chocolate, and stir until smooth.

Ganache is perfect covering for cakes; refrigerate the cake first, then pour the ganache over the cake and then refrigerate again to set the ganache.

But on this day of all days, it also makes the perfect chocolate body paint. Enjoy!

Dear Dr Love...
I'm not a particularly big fellow, but there is still not enough room for me in our fridge. And I feel silly stood out in the cold clad only in a layer of chocolate waiting for it to set, particularly as I live on a main road.

D'you have any advice on how this sticky scheme could work for me?

Or do I just have to be covered in coffeegoo?

(it was as close to choccy as I could find...)

When used as body paint, body temperature is acceptable.

If you really feel the need to use the fridge, you could try just putting selected parts of your anatomy in there.

I'm sure your partner can help you find a sharp knife...
