Suddenly a shot rang out! A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.

Well, since biblophile comes from greek, we would have to go to greek, wouldn't we?

The interwebs say that the greek word for game is παιχνίδι (Peck-KNEE-thee)

So a lover of games might be a peknithiphile.

True, but the Latin form (ludophile) is from the verb "play" as in "lover of play" rather than the Latin noun for 'game' - and παιχνίδι (game) is a noun form, although it has the same root as the greek verb for "play" which is "παίζω" or PAY-zo.

I would propose Paizophile!!!

(note Paizo - at paizo.com - is the producer of the Pathfinder RPG and Kill Doctor Lucky Boardgame... )

Plus, after getting Paid, I can Pay for my Paizophilic predilections to end up broke.

"Paizophile" sounds way too much like "pedophile."
