Don't laugh at Rummikub unless you've tried it. It's virtually indestructible and has a place in any well-rounded collection. It may be the best bang-for-the-buck game in mine. Plays great with 2!

Now that you're sold, I felt obligated to pass this along. Our Wally World here in BFE Missouri has Rummikub for 6 bucks. Perhaps the ghost of Sam Walton has now given the supplier beatdown to Pressman to negotiate such a deal. Not sure if this is Wal-Mart's price everywhere, so apologies for any false alarm, but this appears to be the new, regular price of a game that runs 10-14 bucks anywhere else and is worth it at that price. At 6 bucks, don't even think about it. Just buy, try, and thank me later.

Re: Run, don't walk. Rummikub $6.00 at Wal-Mart
Before I discovered Euro's it was one of my favorites, see

Rummikub

ranked pretty good as an abstract and family game, and not too bad overall. $6 is a great price

This is a solid game, and $6 for a new copy is good.

Or you could go to any thrift store and pick up one of countless copies for $1.

If there's a walmart nearby the $5 might be worth it to save the hunting trip.

Our thrift store is trying to get $10 for the American Idol game. Our thrift game economy here in SW MO apparently isn't as favorable as in your part of the country.

It used to be ok, but lately it has been a wash. I have snagged some pretty good stuff in the past, but I rarely go anymore. I hit the flea markets more than the thrift stores.

I think this is normally about $7 at Target. Mainstream games are really cheap.
