This information was far too important to share to mere geeks.

Expect a visit from the Nerd Patrol. The mind erasure process is not painful, but it has been known to cause involuntary bowel movements.

sauronSorry, I forgot to mention it.ninja

I heard of this back in like 02 on an interview (I think One Ring had it). The audio of this video was part of that (I like this version better than the one used in the series).

edit to add: whoa, whoa... I didn't realize he had a cult. whoops. okay now that is need to know, but I don't need to know.

I am amazed that anyone cared about this.

You know, my dad and a group of his buddies were in some war movie. They needed a huge crowd of soldiers to mill about in the background. Should we create cult followings on web sites for each of them? I have seen the lowest in terms of wasted time and effort now.

I would suggest that commenting on a boardgame forum about said waste of time and effort is a greater waste of time and effort -- only surpassed by this meta critique of your post.

There was also a small "Arwen is lovely . . . who is THAT!?" movement, but I have no idea who Ailwit is.

Actually, it was more "Arwen is lovely... What, there were other people on the screen?" (But "Ailwtwopots" is hard to pronounce.)

This is cool. Thanks.

Want to see me in a movie? Cool, I knew you would.

Go rent a copy of "Car Wash" with George Carlin. About halfway through the movie (or maybe 2/3rds, I forget) Carlin is talking with some other workers and Rampart Street in LA is behind them. You'll see a 1972 Porsche 911T pull up (it'll be eggplant colored... aubergine for you purists) and in the Porsche will be a handsome young DW who was so distracted by his Bad Company tape playing Super Star that he barely glanced at the production crew.

While watching the movie in the theater one of my wives... or maybe girlfriends... or something... noticed and pointed it out to me.

I'm also in a Peter Star film called "On Any Sunday", but I'm wearing a disguise.

Amusing. Kinda like the website devoted to the "ass-to-ass" guy from Requiem for a Dream.

Also, did you know Ron Jeremy is in Ghostbusters? He's the extra on the left:

My answer would be why not? Surely that is what the interwebs is for.

Randy I'm surprised at your attitude, what with your numbers mind and connections and what for. You see the schmuck, as Flight of the Conchords, did that whole Frodo song (thanks mister lunch) as part of their radio show, from memory and even had Peter Jackson on (from memory) and so having him as an extra in LOTR is actually quite funny.

But if people want to put such things on the web, who cares, it's actually quite funny to me.

Wow, did you watch all those clips for a purple porsche (that in the above clip looks coffee-colored)?

I was about to say.

I mean. Really. Really?

THIS is 'the lowest'?

REALLY??

Because there is this thing out there - you may not have heard of it - called The Internet.

Let me just say...you've got a WAYS to go before you hit 'lowest'.

As in a..."from Bag End all the way to Mordor and back again"...long ways.
