Does anyone have, or has anyone seen, a complete piece count list for Napoleon in Europe by Eagle Games? The rulebook that comes with the game is vague to say the least. Eagle Games does not provide an itemized list online and there isn't one posted here in the Napoleon in Europe game section. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(trying to help)
Eagle Games sells parts to the game, and some numbers are listed there.
The horse sprues each have 24 horses on them. The military units sprues have 39 units on them
There are 7 countries in the game, and I recall there being more sprues of french units than the other countries.

I don't think this will help you probably, because it applies to my very customized version of NIE rather than out of the box NIE. I compiled this for a guy in Australia recently:
"The following is about what I have. I haven't had too much trouble with it so far, except I need more Elite Infantry for Britain. It would be nice to have separate figures for Militia and light blue ships (for neutral minors). There are probably too many Generals.
Key I Infantry EI Elite Infantry A Artillery HA Horse Artillery C Cavalry HC Heavy Cavalry G General (or Admiral) S Naval Squadron FB Flag Bearer
France (dark blue) I 60 (this might not be enough in a long game) EI 12 A 20 HA 4 C 28 HC 12 G 12 S 4 FB 6
Austria (grey) I 30 EI 6 A 10 HA 2 C 14 HC 6 G 6 S 4 FB 4
Russia (green) I 30 EI 6 A 10 HA 2 C 14 HC 6 G 6 S 4 FB 4
Prussia (black) I 30 EI 6 A 10 HA 2 C 14 HC 6 G 6 S 4 (I use these for the neutrals, mainly) FB 2
Britain (red) I 30 EI 6 (might not be enough) A 10 HA 2 C 14 HC 6 G 6 S 12 FB 2
Spain (yellow) I 30 EI 0 (no need) A 10 HA 2 C 14 HC 0 (no need) G 6 S 4 FB 2
Ottomans (purple) I 30 used as Militia EI 0 (no need) A 1 (only allowed 1) HA 0 (no need) C 14 only for Irregular Cavalry HC 0 (no need) G 6 S 4 FB 2
Tan Ottomans (tan) - troops controlled by Ottomans but not Ottomans (i.e. Swedes, etc.) I 15 EI 0 (no need) A 6 HA 0 (no need) C 7 HC 0 (no need) G 0 (no need) S 4 FB 2 (no flag sticker)
Neutrals (light blue) I 15 EI 0 (no need) A 6 HA 0 (no need) C 7 HC 0 (no need) G 0 (no need) S 0 (ships not available in light blue) FB 2 (no flag sticker)
Horses Black 22 Brown 44 Grey 22 White 22"

Thanks!
Thanks! I'll do a cursory check with those counts.
I checked out the Eagle Games site for ship miniatures -- the ones used in Civilization -- but they wanted $3.00 for a sprue which contains only two ships of one color! Based on some of the scenarios, it would cost a rather large amount of $$$ just to get some spiffy plastic ships miniatures.

Yes, I remain "offended" in principle at the ship thing, but I bought a bunch anyway. They sold 10,000 units of NIE. They could afford to make some bags of ships for NIE available at a reasonable price, imo. But at least they ship quickly when you order.
