I got a call yesterday from Markus, one of the guys at JKLM, the publisher that is currently looking at the game I made - Scattered Fleet. Apparently they have a few questions, but are otherwise interested in publishing it. This is quite exciting.
Anyway, Markus is coming down to my place in North London on Saturday to try playing the game with me - to see whether I play it differently to how they do. He is bringing an extra player, and has asked me to try to rustle up another two players so he can see how the game plays with five.
Is anybody available for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon? I live about 5 minutes' walk from Archway station, and I will ply people with refreshments because happy people make for a better gaming experience!
The game is a light wargame set in space, in which players use a fleet of mercenary ships to try to claw out a slice of territory while preventing opponents from doing likewise. The play time for a five player game will probably be 1.5-2 hours.
I've played the game at London on Board with a few people, but people who have never seen it are equally welcome. There's a little bit of info about the game at:www.scatteredfleet.com
Please send me a geekmail if you are free this saturday (25th) afternoon and interested in coming along. If you're a group of two, all the better!
