You'll have to be more specific, since I'm not sure your list of games jibes with my interpretation of your original question.

I don't know very many games that have multiple paths to victory.
Examples:
The winner is the first person to
EITHER
achieve X status.
OR
collect Y victory points.
OR
construct Z items.

I know plenty of games that offer multiple ways of gaining victory points or winning conditions, with the winner being the player with the mostest.
Examples:
You gain X victory points for achieving each status.
AND
You gain Y victory points from trading in cash.
AND
You gain Z victory points for every item you construct.

For example, Cyclades is exactly a category 2 game. You must win by collecting 2 Metropolis tiles. If they had separated philosophers so they were a distinct winning condition (8 = win, rather than 4 = metropolis tile), then you'd have a category 1 game.

Let's call them distinct strategies for victory:

Puerto Rico--building strategy, plantation strategy

Agricola--baking strategy

Age of Empires III--colonization strategy, trade good strategy.

Power Grid--only one strategy.

Catan? I don't really see distinct strategies.

If TTD has multiple paths to victory, then every single game in the top 100 does.

Your probably correct- multiple elements you must balance to win is more accurate.

You can't win on an "oasis only" or "longest only" status.
