After a game of TI3, three of us sat down for a game of Settlers - to cool things down.
We played with all the expansions for the first time. The scenario was "A new world". I got a fairly good starting position and sat out to gain as much advancements in science as I possibly could.
I built a knight just for the fun of it. A smart move, cause we kept moving the barbarian ship closer to the shores of Catan with every roll of the dice.
The barbarians whipped our behinds every single time as well...
Two of us grew tired of mainland Catan and began exploring the surrounding archipelago to gain a VP each.
We all had fun playing and it was anyone's race. We each had a metropolis and were equals on the board.
In the end I won with the help of a long road and a printer.
