Ohh, that didn't tell you much did it?

Well, I'm looking for a non-gamer game, preferably light on text as she doesn't understand English so well.

Any suggestions welcome! Please have a look at my collection maybe I'm overlooking there

From your collection, i´d say Elfenland might work.

Look for games not lasting more than 30 min with short and simple rules.
Maybe some abstracts like those form the Gipf series might work, or Topology
But maybe you should start with something with more luck, so it is not unballanced, maybe Pickomino or a trick-taking game.Or a reacrion game like Collide-O!.

Oregon could work well; I think of it as a better alternative to carcassonne. Or Hey, That's Hey! That's My Fish!, which has adorable penguin meeples.

Hiya guys! Well, she came over today for a few hours. We played several rounds of Hey, That's My Fish! and she liked it a lot!!

She wants to come over and play more games in the near future! I got her hooked! Hehe

Also showed her some of the other games I own and she seems very interested...

I might have a convert! laugh

Sure.

I hope that was a joke. Although Mr. Jack is an excellently-crafted game, it is not something I would throw at a non-gamer. I put its complexity level and brain-burner-ness well above chess.

For two players, Jaipur is always good. Maybe 10 Days in Europe, or one of the others in that series. Or Ra: The Dice Game or TransAmerica.

Lots of choices out there.
