Domestic orders were shipped out Saturday evening. International orders will be shipped out first thing in the morning. They would have been shipped today, but I discovered the hard way that Columbus day is today, and the post office is closed.

Reviews should start coming soon, as well.

I just got my (domestic) copy today. If I'm lucky I'll be able to play it on Sunday, but we'll see.

The game comes with 144 cards, of nice quality, which are half the size of the standard PCL cards. The box is actually big enough to hold twice as many cards, so I don't know if that means an expansion is planned or not.

As normal, it comes with the usual double sided rules sheet, though it's much larger than typical PCL rules sheets thanks to the larger box.

My only issue is that there are no reference cards, even though reference cards are mentioned in the rules.

Hey Grey,

We sent out a message about the reference cards, I guess I should probably make a note here on BGG, too.

We were short about 75% of the reference cards from the printer. We notified him, and he is printing the rest that were left out. Instead of holding up the games, we went ahead and sent them out sans the reference cards in some of the games. We will be mailing out the remaining reference cards when we get them (we'e just sending everyone who ordered the game a set of them, since we didn't mark who received a game with them and who didn't), in the meantime, you can download a printable version of the reference cards here: http://www.smallboxgames.com/cartstat.pdf

A note about the box size. We went with that size box so that people could sleeve their cards if they really enjoyed the game (believe it or not, they actually make sleeves for that size card!). It's also just big enough for a couple of expansion cards, if and when the game blossoms to that point.

Upon opening my copy, I was very disappointed to find the cards were half-size. Why did you choose this size?

Every game I have played with this size cards that requires significant card handling has been an exercise in frustration. Most people consider TTR 1910 a must have expansion simply because it includes full-size cards.

I may go so far as to say had I known the cards were half size before ordering, I wouldn't have ordered. It is not an insignificant element.

I would hazard to guess that using half size cards was the only way to double the number or cards (as compared to previous PCL games) without raising the price point from the PCL standard $12.99

If so, I would much rather have paid more for bigger cards.

The cards in my copy aren't too nice. The edges aren't very clean at all, and many of the corners are bent a little.

Still looking forward to trying it out.

The Mayday Mini Euro sleeves fit the width perfectly. However, they are a bit long. Not too long to affect shuffling, but, getting them all into the box is a bit of work, but it's possible.

How about the American small size sleeves? They are narrower and shorter than the Euro small sleeves. thoughts?

Mayday has comparable but here are the dimensions for FFG mini sleeves..

American: Fits Cards of This Size: 1 5/8" x 2 1/2" (41x63 MM)
Euro: Fits Cards of This Size: 1 11/16" x 2 5/8" (44x68 MM)

I bought some today so I'll let everyone know if they are too snug.
