I didn't know about a reprint, but at least in North America, the game seems fairly readily available still.

The reprint of Dragon's gold will be released by White Goblin Games and should be available around june the 17th.
I've read that on the Iello site (Iello is the french distributors of the White Goblin Games) :

http://www.iello.fr/index.php/iello/Nos-produits/Jeux-de-soc...

Here is the new cover (it looks like a metal box):

May we please have a few more infos, Mr Faidutti ?

Will the reprint have some rules changes ? Some components changes ?

Well, I didn't know it will be a metal box, and it's a shame, for I don't like these boxes which are usually very difficult to sort and pile. As for the game itself, there are some extra magic item cards, and one minor rules change - the black diamond is now worth 19 points.

I hope they are the same kind of item as the Invisible Hand: cards which allow you to cheat !

Hrm. The Iello web page says French language. I wonder how long until the English version follows? And why is Iello publishing every game I want in 2011?

It's not a Iello game, it's a White Goblin Game. Iello is their french distributor.

All the White Goblin Games are published in 4 languages: french, german dutch and english.

I think that's why the title on the box is Dragon's Gold and not l'Or des Dragons, and I bet there won't be any text but icons on the magic cards (but maybe I'm wrong on that point).

Anyway, don't worry, I'm pretty sure the english version will be available as soon as the french or any other version.

So, any news on when this'll get a release? I just bought an older copy, but if the components are much nicer, I might get the new version too.

Unsolicited honesty like that is holding you back. You should say, "Metal boxes are awesome! Resistant to fire and flood! Makes a perfect gift!".
