If I turn a militia into another hero using Diin Beguiler, how do I deal with it if a hero or militia has to be destroyed after the battle?
1) If I duplicated another hero and I have to destroy that kind of hero, may I destroy the militia instead of the original hero?
2) If this was the only militia in my hand and I duplicated another hero and I attack a monster that destroys a militia, what do I do? Must I destroy the militia, must I keep it or may I choose between destroying it or not?
I am assuming that I must keep the militia, but I'm still not sure if this is correct.
Militia as if every feature on the card was identical to the Hero
chosen." (p. 21)
I read that to mean the Militia is no longer a Militia. If you duplicate Regian and something calls for you to destroy a Cleric, then the Militia-Regian would be destroyed.
So in #1, you can destroy the Militia pretending to be a Hero, in #2 the pretending Militia is not destroyed, it's not a Militia.
Finally if I use a Diin Enchanter and discard a militia to draw a hero from the village and I attack a monster that forces me to destroy a hero, may I choose to destroy this one that would be destroyed anyway and keep all my other heroes?
Selurin and Toryn seem to work in a similar way, with them you can destroy the borrowed card when called to destroy a Hero or Weapon. I would think the same applies here.
