Comcast actually charges you to have someone install a box when you ask for an equipment upgrade? As in something you'll probably be paying them more a month for anyway? Interesting. I guess I'm spoiled by having a smaller regional provider.
That's right. Probably to cover the expense and time of having a technician come over to do the upgrade. And it was a job I easily did myself, though I had to call them to configure my channels.
Unfortunately, I'd have to cover my living expenses before anything else. Coming up short in the middle of the month is not a good place to be.
Good luck with the job hunt.
Indeed. That's why I need to get the job, so that I can cover my expenses a little more easily. Unfortunately I am so dependent on the Internet as my window to the world that I have to pay Comcast pretty much whatever they ask. And the real bump to my regular bill will come in about two months.
