I am a little confused with the card placement rules.
One section of the rules states: "The player must reveal the point values of the cards to his opponent as he plays them"
and three paragraphs down it reads: "Cards in this type of space [one card outline] are placed in a stack so that only the top card is visible. Cards below the top card in this stack may not be examined"
Sounds like this means that the cards are always revealed (if there are more than one) and then if there are more than one the extra's are placed face up, but under the top card.
Thanks for setting me straight!
I'm in the same boat as Eric. We would state the total value of the cards we were placing in a stack and display them before laying them down on the board with only the topmost card showing. From this point no one was allowed to look at the cards underneath the topmost card.
I enjoyed this game. We only played it a couple of times tonight and I'm still formulating some strategies, but it was quick and easy and light on strategy. Perfect for a filler game, or a night in with the wife.
