A three player game using basic rules was played. For the first half of the game, there was very little temple uncovering. Most of the effort was spent on collecting and trading treasures. Alice started the game having gathered as many treasures as possible. As the game progressed, she was in a good temple area as well. Both John and Justin established camps in that area of the board and started to grab up as many temples as they can. The caused Alice to immediately establish a guard at her temple site (which was now uncovered at 8). With an occasional revealing of treasure spaces, the players started to make their three treasure matches. While Justin was the first to make such
a match, Alice was able to establish three three-treasure matches by game end. Aside from the occasional temple struggle by John and Alice, the game was locked. Alice won with an easy lead.

As a side comment, this is one of Justin's favorite games. It always is tense and plays very different depending on the number of players involved. Some player in our group like Brian like the auction rules better. However, it has been Justin's experience that the luck of the tile draw factor is a nice uncertain element in the game and keeps the games length shorter. Overall, a great game!
