This was not a holiday or special event. It occured to me that while I'm in NY City quite often, many people haven't ever been there.

If you've never been to a city this busy (maybe Hong Kong?), you probably can't really conceive of the amout of people. It's also 8PM. No flash used, light is from signs.

I've been through Times Square and all that hub-bub once. Never again.

I much prefer Boston over Manhattan. I feel like it's safer (except south Boston...every city has their place), cleaner, and lots of unique little places that are easy to get to. It doesn't feel so..."busy" or "hurried" either, which I like.

The driving sucks, but what city driving doesn't?

Statistically, considering the tens of thousands of people you pass on a night like this, it wouldn't be unusual...

Yeah, I try to stay the hell away from Times Square for that exact reason.

Large amounts of people I can handle. Large amounts of tourists who don't know how to walk...

It hasn't been as bad in the last year since they turned Broadway into a sidewalk. The reason being people don't seem to realize this, so they stay on the real sidewalks. Smooth sailing for me.

It's hard to walk when you are looking up at all the skyscrapers....they're amazing!

I would like New York City a whole lot more if I didn't work there. That picture there makes me want to scream and run.

You can always spot the rare New Yorker who has been forced to venture into Times Square.

Honestly, I like walking through Times Square once a month or so (I through it to go to Hell's Kitchen). It's invigorating, although I like looking at it from Harold Square more.
