If someone takes both Navigation tiles, does that mean they get +4, meaning they always arrive successfully no matter what?

This came up tonight. Never had thought of doing that before.

Re:Taking both Navigation Tiles means...
Makes sense to me...I don't think I would consider the effect worth the extra action, but it certainly seems like the wording of the tile would imply that effect if you had two of them.

Innovan (#460531),
I agree, although would NEVER waste a tile action on a second one. There are far too many other tiles that are more effective than a second Navigation.
The first Navigation is nice, though...

Re:Taking both Navigation Tiles means...
This isn't something that occured in playtest but I also agree that it should grant a +4 to the second roll (Martin might dissagree but...).

I am not sure that the second tile is worth the 100% benefit but if you consider that it prevents any of your opponents from having a navigation tile it might have a useful psychological effect.

Re:Taking both Navigation Tiles means...
Innovan (#460531), I'm more inclined to treat this like the previous Banking Tile question...that is the effect of owning more than one tile is not cumulative. The effect is to give you +2 on your second die roll if necessary. So owning the second tile would prevent others from gaining the same benefit but only that.

Bubslug (#479550),

I have to disagree. I read the cards as having EXACTLY the effect as written on the tile. One Navigation tile is +2, therefore two tiles should be +4. The banking tile has a completely different wording.
