I was curious about the similarities and differences between the 2003 and 2010 version?

...and also, which version do you prefer?

I actually prefer Beyond Balderdash to either.

Beyond Balderdash has the date category instead of the Laughable Laws category.

I didn't find the laws to be fun in terms of making up answers and guessing.

I got a complete version of Beyond Balderdash at Savers for $2.99. Basically the only thing "wrong" with it was that the box was a little beat up and a few sheets had already been used off of the pad but like 90% of the pad was still there. Otherwise everything was good. Then this past weekend I found regular Balderdash at a yard sale for $1. It only had three pawns and no pad but had all the cards. So all the stuff is stored in the Beyond Balderdash box (Over 800 cards, nine pawns, two boards, the pad, I got mechanical pencils at the dollar store and also some large index cards to cut up to make more answer sheets) all for like $6 total. Can't beat that.
