So I am having some trouble with the soft plastic treasure components of FI. I have tried leaving them out for days in the sun, washing them in a vinegar/water solution, and washing them with plain old soap and water. They still stink. Has anyone had luck with any other method? I know the treasure bits aren't essential to the game, but they're nicely molded and I WANT to use them. Help?

Strange; mine don't have a noticeable odor that I'm aware of. Maybe leave them in a (very mild) soapy solution for a few days? Maybe something like Oxy Clean? Don't use much or you might damage them I suppose.

Just cracked mine open and no odor. Hmmm. Try soaking them for a couple of days? The plastic is off-gassing and like a new car they may just have to air out for a little while.
